Achievement for All Quality Mark 2020-2021

At Slade, we have worked in partnership with Achievement for All to improve outcomes for all children. This has ensured that we are able to accelerate academic progress, closing the gap for all ages and stages, regardless of their background, challenge or need.

Children and young people experiencing disadvantage lack confidence, find learning challenging, develop differently to others, and participate less in society. The impact on their lives can be severe, with long-lasting effects on their wellbeing, relationships and future job prospects, as well as the wider community. This needs to change.

We firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve.

We are thrilled to be able to share that we have been awarded the Achievement for All (AfA) Quality Mark for 2020-21. This is in recognition of the hard work and dedication that the staff, pupils and parents put into ensuring all pupils achieve to their full potential, regardless of background or other factors that may disadvantage them.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
