Parent Community Advisory Group and LGB

At Slade Primary, our families and community are some of our strongest partners. Our family and community engagement are a fundamental part of what Slade is about. The Slade community extends beyond the school walls. The children, staff, central team, families and wider ATLP make up the Slade community.

We recognise that families are the experts of their child and partners in their success. We also value the key part that our wider community can play in supporting the education and growth of our children.
We listen to our families and community, respecting and taking on board the varying needs and opinions and we strive to ensure all voices are included when making decisions that impact our children.

We are currently trialling a new group alongside our current LGB. The Slade Primary Parent and Community Advisory Group (PCAG) will act as the local interface between the trustees of the ATLP trust, the school and its community. The PCAG will act in an advisory manner, supporting school to forge stronger community links and greater opportunities for our children to be a part of the community and beyond.

Would you like to support school as a member of the PCAG? Anyone can become a member of the committee, the only requirements are enthusiasm and the desire to make a difference to the lives of the children at Slade Primary.
