Head of School’s Welcome

Here at Slade, we pride ourselves on the excellent opportunities and experiences we provide for every pupil. We are a two-form entry primary school and proud to be at the heart of the community. We are focussed on serving our pupils and the community, enhancing the lives of our pupils everyday. We pride ourselves in ensuring that all of our pupils enjoy learning about each other and valuing our differences. We have an outstanding pastoral team who support not only the academic development of our pupils but also their social and emotional well being.

We are proud to be a member of the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) a respected multi-academy trust which consists of twenty-one schools: fifteen primary, six secondary schools and one teaching school. These schools are based in Coleshill, Erdington, Four Oaks, Lichfield and Tamworth.  As a member of the ATLP, we are able to collaborate and provide our pupils and staff with an outstanding learning experience.

Slade is a culturally diverse and inclusive school where pupils and staff value each others differences and use these to learn from each other. Our children run into school and are eager to learn, engaging positively in our exciting curriculum. Our children are wonderful, inquisitive individuals who are nurtured through their time at school which allows them to develop into caring, supportive members of the school community. Their learning also supports and prepares them for their role in wider society.

I feel very privileged to work with such a committed and skilled staff at Slade, who want the very best for every single pupil in our school. They ensure that everyday is an excellent learning experience where the children feel loved, valued and respected.
